Farmers v. Monsanto Solidarity Rally!
On January 31st, family farmers from across the county will take part in the first phase of the OSGATA et al. v. It’s appropriate that such a rally as yesterday and today should be held in Wisconsin — considered almost as the birthplace of the Labor Movement.
125 years ago, The Federation of Organized Trades and Labor Unions called for a great  movement to win the 8-hour workday.  Of course that ended with the Bay View Massacre.  
Let’s hope the protests of today, do not end as those in 1886 when Wisconsin Governor Jeremiah Rusk issued the order to the National Guard: “Fire on them.”
